Cross to bear You're off balance and you're falling over but at least you've got a shoulder to cry on So make damn sure that this ain't the hill you die on Sugar, you've still got a shoulder to cry on To cry on A life here is isolated it's sacrosanct even the turbulence is worthy of your thanks So mimic a panting dog, babe and roll down your window Reject your gods of death stick out your neck unfurl those fangs For the paps to snap and for your lover to revere He can't keep his eyes on the road He can't keep his hands on the wheel Cross to bear Cross to bear Cross to bear You're off balance and you're falling over but at least you've got a shoulder to cry on So make damn sure that this ain't the hill you die on Sugar, you've still got a shoulder to cry on To cry on The discombobulated mind behind sad eyes will ogle greener grasses elsewhere always and forever Horny for hot air are you stupid or something? Take the bull in the china shop by the horns and play it by ear It's something for your guardian angel to fear It's something for the voices in your head to cheer It's something for your lover to revere A feeling for your old soul to hold dear A lighter cross to bear A lighter cross to bear It's something for your father's ghost to fear It's something for the passerbys to cheer It's something for your lover to revere A feeling for your old soul to hold dear It's something for your guardian angel to fear It's something for the voices in your head to cheer It's something for your lover to revere A feeling for your old soul to hold dear A lighter cross to bear A lighter cross to bear

Penniless 02:58
Baby, I'm back I'm penniless I'm on my ass I'm sinking fast I lost my mind again It floated down the river and around the bend Cut me some slack I did you wrong That's in the past I'm back on track I've cleaned up my act I put my pedal to the metal down a cul de sac Fooling myself Made myself at home Put the jester on the throne So I trained my brain to reboot to fall upwards and sometimes sideways to a nice place Fooling myself Led myself astray Walked the wrong way for a day So I trained my brain to reboot to fall upwards and sometimes sideways to a nice place Baby, I'm back I'm penniless I'm on my ass I'm sinking fast I lost my mind again It floated down the river and around the bend Cut me some slack I did you wrong That's in the past I'm back on track I've cleaned up my act I put my pedal to the metal down a cul de sac

Age fully age gracefully age patiently or don't age at all Wild roots will uproot others keep to your side or you'll kill us all You remind me of a proud tree that the man marked and had cut down to size Thrown in fires to heat the homes of all his wives to keep hope alive Thorn in the side Pied pipers Mosquitoes The stone in the shoe on the foot in the door to heaven The shortest straw You got sick in the sink at the final call The stone in the shoe on the foot in the door to heaven Stay grounded shoot from the hip sharpen your wit pop stars like pimples Act measured and unmeasured Act brazenly don't tarnish my name I've been thinking of an old wives tale that the man spread round to keep young minds in jail Don't restrict yourself the world will do that on its own Step into the fold Thorn in the side Pied pipers Mosquitoes The stone in the shoe on the foot in the door to heaven The shortest straw You got sick in the sink at the final call The stone in the shoe on the foot in the door to heaven Don't restrict yourself the world will do that on its own Step into the fold

about

After having fled the battlefields of boredom they were forcibly sprung to life through a baize-wrapped romance with a Bob-loving Yorkshireman in the lowlands. They blossomed during a voluntary spell back in the thick of it, euphoria personified riding shotgun this time. They upped their roots and did a dance when taken home to meet the parents. Now they lie both dead and alive in this digital coffin - so strut your stuff and leave a flower.

All proceeds are going towards WWF Australia's bushfire relief
